Kelly is a certified yoga therapist practicing yoga, including meditation since 1986. Yoga is her passion, love and life’s work. Her intention is to support students to identify, target and take steps to be their personal best. And to connect with the deep sense of serenity, centeredness and equanimity that is at their core: whole and healthy, and better equipped to meet life’s challenges. Kelly is a registered instructor with the Yoga Alliance, E-RYT 500; trained in the science of Yoga Therapy at the Ananda Seva Mission in Santa Rosa, California; and trained by Richard Miller, founder of Integrative Restoration as a level 1 iRest ®Yoga Nidra instructor. Kelly is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and together with 7 fellow Portland yoga therapists is a founding board member of the Northwest Yoga Therapy Collaborative – the first of it’s kind in the United States. She has partnered with a chiropractic doctor and an emergency room doctor to integrate yoga therapy as a complementary healing modality in our modern western world. Kelly has great gratitude for all of the teachers in her life, especially, Swami Chetanananda, whom she met in 1995 and continues work with to refine the fine art of meditation. Kelly lives in his Ashram, in Portland, Oregon.
