In this session, we’ll explore what gets in the way of living in this realization so many have repeatedly glimpsed yet haven’t stabilized in. Neuroscience helps us to understand how our brain’s support (or derail) us in steadying our felt sense of homecoming. We will outline the daily yogic responsibilities and recommendations for nourishing this capacity. Practices will include asana, pranayama, mindfulness in the subtle layers of the koshas, pratyahara, chanting, and meditative inquiry. Expect an inward journey that evolves into a sense of intimacy with your fellow yoga companions here and everywhere. Asana willbe suited to all levels and will include sun salutations, standing poses, and twists.
Please bring a mat, 2 blocks, a strap, 2 blankets. And if you have a hot water bottle, please bring it.
