Yoga and meditation are traditionally called methods of familiarization – or ways of getting to know your own mind and body — warts and all!  Cyndi will introduce shamatha, traditional Buddhist mindfulness meditation, as a path toward making friends with ourselves, creating a gap between stimuli and response and leading to more options for a rich, joyful and beneficial life.  Then we’ll tuck this work into a fun, powerful asana class as inspiration for moving through our daily lives with clarity and spaciousness.

All levels.  Please bring a mat, 2 blocks and a strap.
